Turkey - Yacht charter

At the intersection of Europe and Asia, Turkey is an enticing and exotic destination for a sailing holiday.
The diverse Turkish coastline with its numerous bays, islands and ancient ruins is a sailors paradise. From ancient ruins in Troy to the pulsing streets of Istanbul, this is home to a variety of landscapes and cultures.

You will discover beautiful sandy beaches, secluded bays, dramatic cliffs, and lush landscapes depending on the region. The hospitality and warmth of the locals leave a lasting impression on many sailors. During an extended sailing trip from Turkey, you can explore the Lycian coast as well as the Greek islands.

The Mediterranean Sea lies in Turkeys south, where it is surrounded by the beautiful beaches, charming towns and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. To the east of Bodrum, all the way to Antalya stretches a rough, steep coastline with hundreds of secluded bays and coves, plenty of isolated beaches and dense pine forests. Yachts can be chartered in Fethiye, Göcek, Finike and Kemer, but the main sailing centre and charter hub in this area is Marmaris. It is no longer the small fishing village it used to be but is now famous for its beachfront promenade with cafes and restaurants, small shops, and many bazaars. Turkeys Mediterranean coast is typically sheltered from strong winds by mountains with coniferous forests, which generally means sailing conditions are favourable.

Sailing in Turkey offers something for everyone, whether you are an experienced sailor or a novice. A voyage to Turkey, with its diverse landscapes, cultures, and activities, is an experience not to be missed.
